The Seaview Suite of the Lossiemouth Town Hall

 

On Tuesday 10th February 2008

The Chairperson opened the meeting at 1900 hours and welcomed all present. .

 

Item 1.                                                            Apologies.

 

1.1       Apologies were received from Bill Reid, Constance Campbell, Jane Stokes, Helen MacIntosh and Amanda Gregory.

 

Item 2.                                                Minutes of the Previous Meeting

.

2.1       It was proposed by Bob and seconded by Fran that the minutes be accepted.  The minutes were accepted and signed by the Chairperson as a true record.

 

Item 3.                                                Matters Arising from Minutes

 

3.1       We are still awaiting confirmation from ENTRUST of registration.

 

Item 4.                                                            Correspondence

 

4.1       Copies of all correspondence were available.

                       

Item 5                                             Lossiemouth Web Site

 

5.1       If there are any items that members think should be included in the website please email them the Charles and he will include them.

 

 

 

Item 6                                                 Environmental Grant

 

6.1       The Castle Court/Community Way project is on course, the architect has been on site and is now drawing up the plans. This project will take half our Environmental budget and the other half is on hold for the Inchbroom project

             

Item 7                                                 Consultations

 

7.1       The completing of the Scottish Governments consultation on identifying tenants priorities took most of the meeting.

 

Item 8                                     Housing Officers Report

 

8.1       Amanda is back at work but the weather and road conditions have stopped her getting to the meeting tonight

 

 

Item 9                                 The Moray Council Inspection

 

9.1       The Moray Council Inspection Report has now been published and the council got an ‘A’ for Housing management, a ‘B’ for Asset Management and a ‘C’ for services for homeless people.  This is an extremely good result and places the Moray Council number 2nd or 3rd in the country.

 

Item 10                                   Other Relevant Business

 

10.1     Fran has heard that she is getting a new kitchen next year.  The upgrades list is now available and will be on the web shortly.

 

10.2     There is a lot of dog dirt at Rockall Place from dog walkers passing to go to the quarry.  This will be brought to the attention of the Community Warden at the earliest opportunity.

 

10.3     There have been reports that the workmen replacing the smoke alarms are not tidying up after they finish and leave rubbish in the house.

 

Item 9                                     Date and Time of Next Meeting

 

9.2       The next meeting of the forum will be held on 10th March 2009 at 7.00pm in the Seaview Suite of the Lossiemouth Town Hall

 

9.2       There being no further business the meeting closed at 1950 hours and the Chairperson thanked all those present for attending
